SAMBORI: Valencia voice children's game of hopscotch:
The hopscotch is one of the most popular games worldwide. Its origin is unknown, but it is related to the known linear games in times of civilizations Aegean, Greek and Roman.
According to one version known, hopscotch was invented by a English monk, who wanted this game to symbolize the beginning of life, life itself, with its difficulties and alternatives, and death, on the verge of they appear hell and purgatory, heaven previous stages, the final goal. This suggests that hopscotch may have had a particular astrological sense.
The hopscotch is called differently in certain countries. In Spain, also called the yew, and also receives many other names such as blackfish, cox cox, Futian, traquenele, telazarranea, hopscotch, hopscotch, hopscotch, pitajuela, mariola, etc. In Chile it is called fight or money-box in Colombia greedy or float, in Portugal game play devil or dead man in Italy is called the world, in Venezuela the game Vieja Valley in Mexico.
exist in the world, numerous variants of this game, but all have something in common. One of the simplest and most common ways to play it is: the stone is thrown into a box without touching the edges. It jumps to the box two on one foot, and in that same position box by box goes into the sky. In the sky rests
(rely on both feet) and takes the reverse route. Upon reaching the box 2 provided on one foot, collect the stone box 1, and the miss, ending the round.
rounds are the same, but the stone throwing in box 2, and the other on. In the last round stone thrown into the sky. If you make a foul, play passes to next player. The first to complete the ten faultless rounds wins the game. Ambivalence
2 (SAR) condition which lends itself to two opposing interpretations.

Born in Valencia the project "sAMBorI VALENCIA"
On March 23 presented at the Circulo de Bellas Artes de Valencia project 'sAMBorIVALENCIA', an initiative born from the hand of the cultural association RESANIMA (nadalma), consisting in bringing together a sample of the various gatherings of the province of Valencia, offering the public poetry readings of the most outstanding artists and relevant of those meetings.
The sessions were presented by the Valencian poet and member of RESANIMA, Eddie (J. Bermúdez), and the representative of UNESCO Valencia, José Manuel Giron, who on behalf of UNESCO have read the message from Mr. Koichiro Matsuura, Director General of UNESCO on the occasion of World Poetry Day, March 21, 2009. Meanwhile
Eddie (J. Bermúdez) I explained what 'sAMBorIVALENCIA', a project that began as a necessity to unite the various poetic forms of the city of Valencia. A connection point between the different areas where these events take place, and among the poets who pass through them realizing their art, sharing with other poets, and the general public who approach motivated by the pleasure of poetry. the facilities where these events occur literary (ie, El Dorado, Tango and Trick, Matisse, Café Sant Jaume etc.). Armed with the representatives of each of the areas will be asked to choose the usual participants, a considerable number for the readings. Thus Eddie
added that this forum where poets, readers and poetry lovers in general to trace a map of certain "poetic coffee in the city of the Levant. With a full literary history between Lisboa Café and the classrooms of the Faculty of Arts is to outline the different scenarios where poetry is still beating. Thus, each of the talks given in April, May and June (depending on their success later be extended to the months of September, October and November), is structured by presenting one of these circles by his or her coordinators, explaining what was done in those meetings, how the ordinary citizen can participate in that experience, encouraging him to visit, participate. Explained the vicissitudes of the "talking shop", there will be a recital of the poets who attend usually chosen in advance by the coordinator / a.
In addition to the conference proposed various exhibitions of visual poetry of poets from the city as well as the ability to show the different publications and documented images of such gatherings.
Message from Mr Koïchiro Matsuura, Director General of UNESCO on the occasion of World Poetry Day, March 21, 2009
Linguistic diversity is one of the most valuable forms assumed cultural diversity. Because they are able to capture the infinite variety of the world and lend themselves to translation, the language can articulate the uniqueness and universality. This link is nowhere more powerful than in poetry. Every language has its own.
By celebrating this Day we return to the spirit of the message in the Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions (2005), which considers the diversity as an evolving cultural and creative expression.
Poetry contributes to creative diversity by questioning constantly renewed the way we use the words and things, our ways of perceiving and interpreting reality.
Through its associations, and metaphors, and its own grammar, poetic language is therefore another facet of the dialogue between cultures. Diversity
dialogue, free movement of ideas by word, creativity and innovation is evident that the World Poetry Day is also an invitation to reflect on the power of language and the flourishing of creative capacities of each person.
Now that just concluded the celebration of the 60 th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, let's hope this day will also attest to the universal aspiration to a world reconciled around the values \u200b\u200bof freedom and diversity.
